About ScéalWorks
Where stories are forged in memory, myth… and a wee bit o’ mischief.
Hello! I’m Monnette, and ScéalWorks is my storytelling forge. It’s messy, it’s magic, and it’s mine (for now—until more voices join the chorus).
I believe stories have the power to honour where we come from — and to ignite where we might go. I started this because I’ve always had one foot in the real world and the other halfway through a portal somewhere. Growing up, I wasn’t exactly raised on fairy tales—more like daydreams and half-told histories. But the stories I did love? They stuck. The ones with underdogs, oddballs, found families, and a hint of myth around the edges.
ScéalWorks is where I pour all that into something new.
It’s rooted in Irish heritage (and the other threads that shaped these isles), but I’m not here to gatekeep tradition—I’m here to spark it into something bold. Something that remembers the old songs and makes up new ones. Where rebels rise, truths unravel, and identity refuses to sit quietly in a box.
This isn’t a polished operation (yet). It’s still being built, still finding its shape. That’s half the joy of it.
The forge is lit. The sparks are flying. Let’s see what we can make.
If you’re the sort who likes lore and legends, a bit of sci-fi with your soul, and the kind of stories that leave soot on your hands—you’re in the right place.
Welcome to ScéalWorks.
Grab a hammer. Or a brew. Or just your curiosity, and take a pew. That’ll do just fine.
Croí amháin. Scáth amháin.
One heart. One shadow.
